Mbeumo almost officially joined Manchester United, Garnacho & Friends of Pleading
Gilabola.com – Manchester United finally reached an agreement to recruit Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford with a transfer value of Rp 1.55 trillion.
The Cameroon striker is expected to soon undergo a medical test before officially becoming part of the Ruben Amorim squad who will tour the preseason to the United States.
Brentford reportedly accepted the third offer from MU after two previous proposals were rejected. The final agreement includes a payment of Rp 1.4 trillion in four stages, plus an additional bonus worth Rp 131 billion.
Mbeumo became the third recruitment of Manchester United in the transfer window this summer after Matheus Cunha Wolves and Diego Leon from Cerro Porteno.
Mbeumo had already established a personal agreement with United’s management, which opened the way for the transfer process to be completed in the near future.
Interest from other clubs such as Tottenham Hotspur had appeared, but United moved faster and more aggressively in the hunt for the 25 -year -old soccer player.
Amorim firmly get rid of players not in plans
While the Old Trafford public welcomed the arrival of new players, the news was less comfortable coming from the dressing room. Ruben Amorim took a hard step by crossing out a number of players from the team’s main plan.
Five names – Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, Jadon Sancho, and Tyrell Malacia – were included in a group called “Bomb Squad”.
The five players have been told directly that they are no longer included in Amorim’s plan for the new season. As a consequence, they were asked to find a new club and train separately from the first team.
This step apparently caused divisions in the club’s internal division, with some staff feel that Amorim’s strategy could damage the team’s morale and reduce the selling value of these players – especially close to the September 1 transfer market deadline.
Garnacho’s situation became one of the highlights. The young Argentine winger is reportedly the target of Aston Villa. He had previously been allowed to leave since January, especially after he openly criticized Amorim’s decision to have reserved him in the Europa League final against Tottenham.
As a form of indirect punishment, Garnacho is now allowed to only come to the training ground in Carrington after the team’s main session is finished, precisely at 17.00 local time.
However, until now there has not been a single member of ‘Bomb Squad’ who really leaves. United are said to have difficulty finding buyers who are willing to redeem the prices of these players.
