Indonesia U23 vs India 1-1 results: Garuda squad survives defeat


Gilabola.com – The results of the Indonesia U23 vs India national team in the second friendly match ahead of the Thailand SEA Games which were held at the Madya Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Jakarta, Monday evening 13 October 2025, ended with a score of 1-1.

Indonesia had to settle for sharing the points after the second test match tonight ended in a draw. Indra Sjafri’s squad even conceded first, when India took the lead through a goal from a player who only entered in the second half, Kourou Singh, who found the net against Daffa Frasya in the 47th minute.

Indonesia seemed to have more difficulty dismantling India’s back line, until finally they had a set piece opportunity, which Dony Tri Pamungkas tried to score. Not wasting any time, Donny Tri immediately shot the ball which went straight into the Indian goal.

The ball only hit the post, Indonesia drew 0-0 in the first half

Rivaldo Pakpahan shot the ball towards the Indian goal after only three minutes of the match. Unfortunately the kick still went up!

Indonesia again posed a significant threat in the 7th minute, when Frengky Missa tried to pass a pass into India’s restricted area which almost ended up in the opponent’s goal.

Luckily for India, Frenky’s shot still bounced slightly and hit the Indian crossbar.

Two minutes later, Tonny and Rayhan Hannan had two golden opportunities that could have put Indonesia ahead. However, this attempt was thwarted by the Indian defenders.

It was India’s turn to get a chance in the 12th minute. Luckily for Daffa Pasha, Arkhan was there to help him save the Indonesian goal.

Hokky had a golden opportunity two minutes later. Unfortunately Hokky’s kick was inaccurate, so the ball went wide.

Kakang Rudianto’s shot on target almost made the ball lodge in the Indian goal. Unfortunately, this attempt was still thwarted by the opposing player.

Unfortunately, coach Indra Sjafri lost Raihan Hannan who had to be withdrawn in the 28th minute due to injury. His position was then replaced by Arlyansyah.

Daffa managed to make a brilliant save right in the 40th minute when one of the Indian players tried to shoot the ball from outside the penalty area.

Before halftime, Dony fired a hard shot in the 41st minute. However, the ball still bounced. The goalless draw remained.

Breaking first, Indonesia’s goal is safe in the second half

Instead of scoring a goal, Daffa Pasha’s goal was conceded in the 46th minute when a player who had just entered in the second half,

GOAL!! Indonesia finally managed to equalize in the 70th minute, when Dony Tri Pamungkas’ free kick went straight into the Indian goal. 1-1!

Indonesia’s game looked livelier in the second half, especially as several players who were originally sitting on the bench started to enter the field. Unfortunately, there were no additional goals in this match.
