Results of the Indonesian vs Mozambique National Team: Ole Romeny leads Garuda to a narrow win at GBK

Ole Romeny again showed his sharpness when the Indonesian National Team hosted Mozambique in the FIFA Matchday match at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Tuesday (9/6/2026) evening WIB.

One goal scored by the 26 year old striker was enough to bring the Garuda Squad to secure a 1-0 victory in front of thousands of supporters who packed the stadium.

This victory was only one goal away, but there are many positive things that the Indonesian national team can learn from. The game organization looked neater, ball control was quite dominant, and several attack combinations worked well.

The one who stands out the most is of course Ole Romeny. Apart from scoring the winning goal, his movements throughout the match continued to trouble Mozambique’s back line.

However, Indonesia also needs to be more clinical in taking advantage of opportunities. If the final finish had been sharper, the score difference should have been greater than just 1-0.

Ole’s quick goal opens the way to victory

Indonesia immediately started playing pressing from the early minutes. John Herdman’s team looked comfortable controlling the ball and threatened the opponent’s defense more often.

The first opportunity came in the ninth minute through Kevin Diks. After receiving a combination of passes from Calvin Verdonk, the versatile defender fired a shot which was wide of the target.

Three minutes later, the GBK public cheered.

Ragnar Oratmangoen sent a mature pass towards Ole Romeny. The striker moved quickly into the penalty box, past the Mozambique goalkeeper, then calmly put the ball into the net. Indonesia took a 1-0 lead in the 12th minute.

Indonesia actually doubled its lead four minutes later. Kevin Diks managed to send the ball straight into the goal via a corner kick. However, the referee canceled the goal because he considered there was a violation against the Mozambican goalkeeper.

Even though they defended more, Mozambique tried to pose threats several times. However, Indonesia’s back line was still able to absorb every attack that came.

In midfield, the duo Joey Pelupessy and Ivar Jenner appeared quite solid in maintaining the rhythm of the game. Indonesia also closed the first half with a 1-0 lead.

Paes and the Goalposts Save Indonesia

Entering the second half, the course of the match did not change much. Indonesia still looks more stable, even though Mozambique is starting to dare to attack.

One hour into the match, the visiting team found quite dangerous spaces in the Garuda defense area several times.

John Herdman responded to the situation by making a substitution in the 65th minute. Marselino Ferdinand, Ivar Jenner and Rizky Ridho were withdrawn simultaneously.

Two minutes later, Indonesia almost added a goal. Nathan Tjoe-A-On’s bait from the right was met at the far post. Unfortunately, the final finish only hit the crossbar.

Mozambique then had their best chance. In the 70th minute, Alcides’ shot still went up. Not long after, Bheu tried his luck with a long-range shot, but Maarten Paes was able to make an important save.

Entering the final minutes, Indonesia again increased the intensity of their attacks. Ole Romeny was the main threat for Mozambique’s defense and several times opened up opportunities for his teammates.

Four minutes of added time did not change the situation. Indonesia maintained its lead until the match ended and closed the match with a 1-0 win.

PakarPBN

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
