Club competition and salary issues hamper the move

Although Sancho still attracted the attention of many European clubs and even from the Saudi Arabian League, none of them were willing to immediately meet the price tag of Rp. 663 billion set by Manchester United without first negotiating salary.

Fenerbahce, for example, is said to offer a transfer value of around Rp 552 billion but is constrained by Sancho’s salary request which is still in the range of Rp 4.4 billion per week, or around Rp 221 billion per year.

The Turkish team is now more focused on direct negotiations with Sancho to suppress their salary requests before going further in transfer talks with United.
