Just a signature, but there is one small obstacle

Gilabola.com – Jadon Sancho is reportedly getting closer to lifting from Manchester United, with Juventus it is said to have reached an agreement to recruit the winger worth Rp 552 billion.

This news sticks out from the report of journalist Marco Giordano who said that the transfer of the British winger to the Giant Serie A club was just waiting for finalization.

Sancho had a loan period in Chelsea last season, after fighting with Erik Ten Hag in September 2023. The tension is believed to have become the end point of Sancho’s career at Old Trafford.

Chelsea actually agreed to the bought obligation clause of Rp 552 billion, but the failure to reach a salary agreement made the permanent plan messy.

In fact, the London club received a fine of Rp 110 billion because it did not complete the player’s contract, with them chose to contract Liam Delap and Joao Pedro instead.

Sancho himself was included in the five players who had conveyed to United’s management that they wanted to leave permanently this summer. He was given additional time to find a new club, and Juventus appeared as the next port.

According to Giordano’s report, inter -club negotiations did not encounter significant obstacles. But one thing that is still in the discussion is compensation of Rp 110 billion requested by Sancho’s agent to Manchester United as part of the move process.

Even so, the belief remains high that the 25 -year -old player will soon be in Juventus, with an official announcement, just waiting.

Romano denied, Juventus have not submitted an official offer

On the other hand, the narrative ‘agreement was almost completed; not fully agreed upon by all parties. European soccer transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, denied that Juventus had submitted an official offer to Manchester United.

Romano revealed that until now there has been no direct negotiation between the club, even though talks with Sancho’s agents have indeed been carried out.

He also revealed that Juventus had not shown the intention to bear Sancho’s salary, which was thought to be one of the main factors inhibiting the transfer.

However, the Turin club reportedly opened the player exchange option, with names like Timothy Weah, Douglas Luiz, and Dusan Vlahovic on the list.

From the Manchester United side itself, the new coach Ruben Amorim is said to be rearranging his squad for seasons without European competition. He is eyeing an additional one striker, one midfielder, and one wing -back, and the results of sales of players such as Sancho can be the key to financing the next transfer, including plans to bring Bryan Mbeumo.
