London Pass Review: Is that commensurate? How to maximize your time

If you plan your first London trip, you might find London Pass. But is that really commensurate? In this London Pass review, I will guide you through what is included, for whom, how to maximize its value for three consecutive days and what to do with the remaining time of your time in London.

After helping thousands of visitors planned a smarter trip to London, I had tested the London Pass several times. This can save money and reduce decision stress but only if you use it wisely. This is how to make it work for you.

London Pass Review: For whom

London Pass is ideal for:

  • The first visitor in London for 3 days who really wanted to rush when here
  • People spend 5+ days in London who want a mixture of crowded travel plans and easy and slow travel balances on other days
  • Tourists who want to see the top attractions quickly and efficiently, focus only on the spotlight
  • People who like to plan their sightseeing on three consecutive calendar days
  • Family with older children or teenagers
  • Comfortable visitors to walk, queue and structured schedules

Which says, not every experience is included. For example, the London Tower activities that I recommend the most ( Private beefeater tour) is No Available via London Pass. If you are someone who appreciates less crowd and exclusive access, that alone can shift your plan.

Still not sure whether it is according to your style? That’s what I helped during the 1: 1 trip consultation. For travelers who were interested in the highest view plus The hidden food, gem and pub tour, Mr. Sunny and I gave a recommendation at this personalized zoom meeting.

Why London Pass 2-3 Days is the only way to get a value

Let’s clarify in this London Pass review: Pass 1 day does not give much value. For example, this is the day in the popular London attraction:

  • Tower of London £ 35.80
  • Tower Bridge £ 16
  • Monument £ 6
  • St Paul Cathedral £ 26
  • View of the £ 38 shar

The total reached £ 115.80. That 1-day Pass Plus is £ 109. That is almost no savings and makes a tiring day.

The actual value comes with 2 or 3 days of operands, where you can group high -value attractions based on areas and move at more pleasant speeds.

Remember, the pass enables you first scanning it and must be used on consecutive calendar days. You cannot divide it from your visit.

That’s why I often recommend using bait for the first half of your journey and ordering the second half to explore London’s personality: the environment, hidden gems and off-pass activities that are tailored to your interests. I can help you plan this during the consultation.

Order one to one question and answer for you:

  • Best Hotel Location
  • Schedule planning
  • Transportation option
  • The top restaurant, pub & gems hidden
  • Theater that must be seen, the experience, activities & advice of the tour

My 3-day London travel plan that was truly successful

This is the structure that I recommend for each client. This is planned tightly, saves the most money and set your hopes correctly.

Day 1: City icon

(As shown in the London travel plan above with hidden gems replacing the monument)

Start earlier and move quickly. There is no time to stop casually like the Borough Market if you want to reach fifth. Expect the queue and plan according to.

Day 2: Greenwich Day trip (by river)

Take Thames River Cruise which is included in Greenwich and explore:

  • Old Royal Navy College
  • Royal Observatory
  • Cutty Sark

A total of 2 days without London Pass is £ 237.10. However, Pass 2-day plus is currently worth £ 154. That’s a savings of £ 83 per adult!

For complete details of this area, see my blog post dedicated to 10 things that can be done at Greenwich London.

Vital Records: Sensation search activity Ride in O2 is No Included in the London Pass. I recommend it separately for travelers who like to adventure. I have written O2 climbing: what to expect blog and video articles about it too.

Day 3: Hampton Court Palace

  • Entry is included and not required previous orders
  • Arrived in the afternoon for a better visitor experience (calmer and less hurried)
  • Explore the palace, labyrinth, kitchen, and formal garden

Avoid Windsor Castle: Although entering technically entered, the pass holder is only allowed in the afternoon. When I visited my mother during the spring holiday, we could not see St. George Chapel Because of limited access. It disappointed and wasted time. Conversely, read my windsor castle who visited: What should you know the articles and videos for how to visit correctly.

Essential Tips Before You Buy London Pass

  • This is not a 24 hour bait. Days are by calendarNot a clock
  • Some attractions require pre-order order (for example: See from Shard, London Eye)
  • Be sure to find out which attractions are part of London Pass Plus options (like the two who just registered) before buying
  • You still need to queue up in most attractions, even with bait
  • Plan your route by area or remove the risk of working hours for transportation
  • Don’t activate it on the “filler” activity. Start with high ticket items earlier
  • Many views are closed earlier or not open every day
  • Use an application for digital entries but don’t rely on it to plan your whole day

Last thought: London Pass Review Summary

In this London Pass review, I hope I have shown you excellence and pass limits. When used for 2-3 consecutive days and paired with the right travel plan, it can save your time and money. But that is not all catching solutions.

Avoid passing 1 day, pass the windsor castle on it and know that it is not included in everything- especially my favorite experience such as the Beefeater Private or O2 tour.
