1. What should I book in advance for London?

It’s not the restaurant and it’s not the theater tickets.

Once your flights and hotel are secure, Eurostar tickets should be your next priority. Don’t wait for this. Eurostar is, for now, the most efficient way to reach the Continent. So, if you have plans to continue your trip to Europe, this is your preferred method.

If you’re planning a multi-city trip in Europe, be aware that train travel within the UK and across to France, Belgium and the Netherlands isn’t cheap. The difference between a three-month and three-week booking can be hundreds of pounds. If you wait until the last minute, it will be very expensive.
