Things to Do in London in December: Candlelight Concerts
I have attended several of these concerts and highly recommend them for date nights, special occasions like birthdays or anniversaries, or just a fun night out! You can read more about my first experience in Tribute to Coldplay. I also attended a Tribute to Taylor Swift, a Hans Zimmer Candlelight Concert, a Christmas Movie Soundtrack, and EDM.

December in London turns the city into a magical winter wonderland. You’ll find Christmas markets in the most popular neighborhoods and ice skating rinks popping up in iconic locations. For theater lovers, the season also offers a variety of holiday shows.

- Christmas at Kew- an annual event featuring dazzling light trails through its stunning gardens.
- Winter Wonderland- in Hyde Park is a place that must be visited at least once. You’ll find a mix of rides, ice sculptures and festive treats.
- Hogwarts in the Snow at Warner Bros. Studio Tour brings the magical world to life with its mesmerizing winter transformations. A must for Harry Potter fans

This event will take place for a limited time or only in 2025.
- The Guildhall Christmas Market- on behalf of the British Red Cross will take place at the Guildhall Art Gallery, Guildhall Yard, EC2V 7HH. Opening night is December 8 from 5:15-9 p.m. Market day is December 9, 10:30-19:00
- Tod’s Festive Feast – Christmas food market outside Outernet London near Tottenham Court Road Underground Station, until 28 Dec
- Neverland at Kenwood House- activities for kids through January 3, 2026
- French Alps escape over the City on the roof of Coq d’Argent, 8 Nov-28 Feb 2026
- New Year’s Eve Luxury Dinner & Cruise Event– celebrate with fine French restaurant Le Pont de la Tour; From 6.30pm you’ll enjoy Champagne and a five-course feast at this riverside restaurant before leaving Edwardians at 10.30pm for an exclusive cruise along the River Thames; this is a view reserved for only 100 guests
