Things to Do in London in February

This month may not have the charm of Christmas or the long days of summer, but there are still plenty of things to do in February in London. Having lived here since 2013, I’ve learned to appreciate these quieter months. February is a great time to explore without the usual crowds. Yes, at least with the exception of the half semester from 16-20 February 2026.

Since the weather is still grey, I tend to recommend more indoor activities to people who want to enjoy a visit to London.

This year, I’m especially excited about the new and returning acts taking to the stage.

Apart from theatre, there are free things to do in London, candlelight concerts, interesting exhibitions and lots of cozy places to escape the cold. A pub crawl or a day out in Greenwich, Notting Hill or Leadenhall Market makes a great weekend date. Whether you’re visiting or a local looking for new ideas, I’ve put together a list of activities to make the most of February in London.

Things to Do in London in February: Candlelight Concerts

I have attended several of these concerts and highly recommend them for date nights, special occasions like birthdays or anniversaries, or just a fun night out!
