Hosts Back On Top, Pacific Storm Loses Again

The results of Persita vs PSBS Biak in the 21st week of the BRI Super League 2025-2026 season which was held at the Indomilk Arena Stadium, Monday afternoon 16 February 2026, ended with a score of 2-1.

PSBS Biak’s efforts to secure perfect points failed again. After taking the lead in the first half, the Pacific Storm team fell behind in the second half. Host Persita Tangerang managed to recover and take a 2-1 lead.

Hope of bringing home perfect points in this match arose when Ruyery Blanco managed to use Ahmad Nur Hardianto’s pass to put PSBS ahead 1-0 in the 45+1 minute.

However, the PSBS squad failed to maintain their lead in the second half. Rayco Rodriguez managed to equalize in the 69th minute after Eber Bessa failed to take advantage of a penalty opportunity.

Ahmad Nur Hardianto then scored the winning goal for the Cisadane Warriors team in the 70th minute. Host Persita also managed to maintain this advantage, even though PSBS fought extra hard to score the equalizing goal.

The additional three points means that Persita now has 35 points in sixth place. Meanwhile, PSBS remains in 15th place with 17 points.

PSBS Wins at the End of the First Half

Both teams tried to appear pressing since kickoff. However, the visiting PSBS team got a golden opportunity first after only five minutes of the match through Luquinhas’ overhead kick.

However, the visiting team was not lucky, Luquinhas’ attempt was thwarted by Persita goalkeeper, Igor Rodrigues.

It was host Persita’s turn to get a goal opportunity in the 11th minute. However, Carlos Pena’s team wasted this golden opportunity.

Ahmad Nur Hardianto, who should have just scored the ball into the empty PSBS goal without a guard, actually made the ball go wide of the opponent’s goal. FAIL!

Ahmad Nur had another chance in the 21st minute. However, the ball from his header was successfully blocked by the PSBS goalkeeper, Kadu Monteiro.

Persita had another golden opportunity seven minutes later through the action of Aleksa Andrejic. However, even this effort did not produce results, because the ball was still wide of the Pacific Storm team’s goal.

ALMOST!! Aleksa’s header again threatened the PSBS goal four minutes before the break. Unfortunately the ball still bounces!

GOAL!! PSBS Biak surprisingly managed to take the lead in the 45+1 minute injury time. The goal was created through a counterattack built by Ilham Udin, until the ball was then successfully completed by Ruyery Blanco. 1-0 The away team is ahead!

Persita Turns Superior in the Second Half

Both teams immediately stepped on the gas after the break. PSBS, who have the ambition to add to their goal collection, have to face resistance from the home team who also have the ambition to equalize.

ALMOST!! Rayco almost scored the ball with a long kick towards the PSBS goal. However, the hosts were not lucky, because Kadu managed to secure the ball.

PENALTY! The hosts were awarded a penalty after a violation was committed by a PSBS player. However, Eber Bessa, who appeared as executor, failed to take advantage of this golden opportunity.

Luckily for the hosts, Rayco managed to take advantage of the chaos in front of Kadu’s goal, and scored the ball to bring Persita to equalize at 1-1 in the 69th minute. GOAL!!

GOAL!! Just one minute later, the Persita players attacked their visitors’ defense again. Ahmad Nur Hardianto also managed to use Eber Bessa’s pass to double his team’s score. 2-1!!
